a5c7b9f00b Sora's world is shattered when a violent storm hits his home, and is seperated from his two closest friends. The storm scatters the three to unknown worlds. At the same time, there is turmoil in the Disney Castle. King Mickey is missing, and Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy are out to find him. On their travels they meet Sora, on his own search for his lost friends. The three are told of ominous creatures called Heartless, being without hearts derived from an unknown dimension and are the ones responsible for the devastating storm. The Disney villians, enticed by the power of darkness, manipulate the Darkness to help them gather the princesses of heart, who are needed to open a mysterious final door. Upon discovering the link between the Heartless, the storm, and the disappearance of King Mickey, Sora, Donald, and Goofy join forces and help familiar Disney heroes to save their worlds from the Heartless. When a boy named sora and his two friends Riku and Kairi decided to build a raft and leave the island to see other world a dangerous storm hit the island in the middle of the night. Sora decided to check the raft out when these mysterious creatures were appearing Sora who's chosen by the keyblade had to fight them as in Disney castle Donald and goofy got a mission from the King to team up with the chosen one. Sora was separated from Riku and Kairi one was separated by darkness as the other was separated with a light heart. Sora fell in this dark hole where he woke up in a different place which he had never had seen before. It was called traverse town Sora met people who told him about the creatures he was fighting they were called heartless and then he met Donald and Goffy who had a gummi ship that could travel to other worlds. Sora decided to go with them to continue his journey and find Riku and Kairi. Donald and Goffy have their mission to find the King and work with Sora. They have to complete their mission. Kingdom Hearts is a great game about this kid named Sora trying to find his 2 lost best friends Riku and Kairi. Although it is a great game it is very long. There are too many bosses and too much to do. It is fun but when you beat it theres just no interest to restart it because it'll take too long and you know what going to happen already. I give Kingdom Hearts an 8/10. Kingdom Hearts could have ended up sucking really, really badly. But apparently, Square and Disney wanted this done right.

And damn, was it done right!

The graphics are simply more than were ever expected. Sometimes, it's rough around the edges, but those things can be basically ignored. But the confusion of the layouts of some of the worlds can be irritating, to say the least. You'll find yourself going in circles.

The Gummi Ship system isn't the most brilliant. During the needless segments of traveling to different worlds, you can hold down the X button and ignore everything else, it's so simple. Then again, custom building your own gummi ships can be pretty awesome, though your options are limited, as well as colors (the palette you can buy late in the game contains only a few key choices).

The worlds themselves are all familiar, and you'll enjoy fighting alongside those favorite characters of yours, though they won't do much for you besides absorb damage. The worlds are often filled with unnecessary space that doesn't seem well thought out and is a little confining. And although the plots of the worlds are slightly altered, you'll feel like you are participating actively in one of Walt's movies.

Getting to the main, non-Disney and final fantasy elements. You play as Sora, a truly interesting character who wields a 'keyblade.' After obtaining the keyblade, he is thrown from his world to Traverse Town, where he meets Donald and Goofy and begins a journey to find his friends.

The Final Fantasy isn't very obvious. You see a lot of familiar faces, but they don't really have anything to do with the main gameplay, other than point him in the right direction. I've never played many of the FF games myself; but you get to go against Yuffie, Aerith, Squall/Leon, Cloud Strife, and Sephiroth. A type of Moogle also make their appearance as Synthesis Shop workers, who will eventually supply you with items of great worth, including the Ultimate Weapon.

Villains from Disney also make their mark, along with an unfamiliar one strictly made for Kingdom Hearts. You'll also, of course, know a lot about the Heartless by the time you're through. The Heartless are the main villains in the game, though they don't do much damage to you other than the occasional boss.

Other things: Camera - Annoying at times. You can only turn it left and right, and sometimes you can't see your main character. Mini games and secrets - Finding and completing these can be very frustrating, but they add depth and a lot of cool stuff to the game. There's postcards you can collect to find rare items, Dalmatian puppies to find, and trinity marks to get into new areas or find shortcuts, or even find new weapons and items. Optional Bosses - There are a few you can play, and two are available after completing two of the worlds. I won't say what they are...but if you're looking for difficulty, you won't be disappointed. The Colliseum is also a great place to find some good opponents (*cough*SEPHIROTH*cough*).

Anyway, that's about it. IF there's anything else you wanted to know, I'm sure you'll find it somewhere. Kingdom Hearts is AWESOME.

It's only flaws are a few plot holes and some good cheese. There isn't one. Try www.gamefaqs.com for tips on boss fights, finding items, etc. You can't. Just keep going to him, even though he isn't always there he'll always appear after a few tries. For the Final Mix version, this problem was fixed, so you can return to him anytime you revisit that area. 1. Kingdom Hearts 3 (Whenever it releases of course...) Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is an updated version of Kingdom Hearts that was released near the end of 2002 only in Japan. Although the English audio was kept, Japanese subtitles were used in that version. Along with a few tweaks and improvements in gameplay, the most notable changes were the addition of Kurt Zisa and Sephiroth (which were both originally introduced in the NA version of the original game), new cutscenes (though left silent in the original release), new special heartless (not to mention numerous heartless being re-colored), new Ansem Report pages and a new hidden boss known as Unknown.

In fact the addition of Unknown and the new Ansem Reports were meant to reference plot elements in the later releases (particularly Kingdom Hearts II). While originally released in Japan, it was not released worldwide into the later release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix in September 2013, nearly 11 years later for the Playstation 3 when it was remastered in High Definition.
